Genitus Milkbank is developed with hospital clinicians and based on real working practices. The aim is to make traceability, control and documentation easier to use in the day-to-day work of a human milk bank.
THE NAME GENITUS
Why are we called Genitus?
Genitus has Latin origins and can be translated as born, brought forth or brought into the world. The name is linked to the ideas of origin, life and creating something new.
For us, this fits well with what Genitus is about: developing solutions that support safe care and treatment from the very beginning of life.
In Genitus Milkbank, the name has a particular meaning. Donor human milk can be very important for preterm and sick newborns, and our solution helps human milk banks manage this valuable resource safely and efficiently while maintaining traceability.
Quite simply, Genitus is about supporting life from the very beginning.
